Affolter Technologies SA from Malleray-Switzerland produces Gear Hobbing Machines for small pitch gears. Affolter has developed a new option called „µ-Skiving“, which allows to apply a technique of skive hobbing on smallest gears. Affolter Technologies SA presents at this year’s EMO the new model Gear AF110. With a module range of 1.0 mm (DP 25.4) in steel, Affolter enlarges its Gear Line upwards for applications such as gear box producers, aircraft and automobile suppliers industries.
