Orthotec 2010 just closed its doors in Zürich. This first congress and exhibition about Orthopedics in Switzerland was full and of very high level. Next issue is already planned for September 28 to 29, 2011 in Regensdorf again.

Mark Temple Smith, Head of trade shows for Europe and Asia with Canon Communications at the Canon booth where a lot of this year’s exhibitors already signed for 2011.
All the world implants manufacturer were there to present and discuss possibilities for the future. We took time (not too much, they were very busy) with a lot of exhibitors and they were all thrilled by the quality and the number of their discussions on their booth. People from 10 countries came to Orthotec.
Why to be there? It was euphoric at the end of the second day, the exhibitors gave me the following reasons to be there:
- High level visitors
- Focus guaranteed
- Small exhibition, visitors can see everyone that interest them
- In case of a temporary non-availability on a booth, visitors can come back later easily
- All the booths quite similar in size and building, no extra-marketing costs
- Return on investment (a lot of qualified contacts for a fee that has nothing to see with a huge show)
Built to last I discussed with Mark Temple Smith, Head of trade shows for Europe and Asia with Canon Communications. He confirmed the dates of next year exhibition and also emphasized that the idea is not to widely grow (and risk to lose the assets mentioned here above) but to be very focused and accurate. The Orthotec concept is already implemented in the USA and Switzerland/Europe and will spread to Brazil and Turkey for 2012. The next big thing (small in size, but what a level!) for orthopedics in Europe will take place in Regensdorf from September 28 to 29, 2011.
Places are limited, if you’re interested in exhibiting, contact the organizer as soon as possible.
