During the World Medtech Forum in Lucerne, the Precision cluster organises for the second time the Speakers Corner. Place for express presentations of 15 minutes, it allows interested companies to show their know-how in record time. To learn more, we met with Mr. Patrick Roth, Director of the Precision cluster, organiser of the Speakers Corner at the Lucerne event.
Extract of the exclusive interview You are organising the Speakers Corner again, what is it exactly? We install a meeting point at the heart of the exhibition and we offer the opportunity for companies to showcase their expertise in 15 minutes. During the three days of exhibitions, we organize presentations from 10 to 12 hours and 13 to 15 hours. Every 15 minutes a new speaker takes place and enhances his business or his products. We offer a communication platform available to companies.
Are the themes free, are there constraints? Each day has a different theme (see below). Apart from these guidelines, participants are totally free; they can talk about their products, their services, their company, innovation or other. We had based the concept in the same way last year and it worked well, we had a majority of presentations of quality and high value for visitors.

Open to everyone… an opportunity not to be missed Every company can apply for a 15 minute presentation on the Speakers Corner at the WMTF Lucerne. Each day has a different theme:
- Orthopedics on September 17,
- dental on September 18 and,
- devices on September 19.
Apart from these guidelines, participants are totally free; they can talk about their products, their services, their company, innovation or other.
First come, first served Exhibitors will have priority and the time available will be allocated on the basis of ’first come, first served’. In case of interest, Mr. Roth recommends to companies to react very quickly. The program will be rapidly full and implemented.
