Time to go to Stuttgart…

March 2011

Germany’s fast-growing medical technology sector achieved sales of over €23 billion in 2009. Medtec Europe Manager Gregor Bischkopf, explains that he expects the industry’s continued growth to be reflected in exhibitor and visitor numbers at Europe’s leading medical technology fair.

The central, overarching theme is precision technology this year at Medtec Europe, and there’ll be a specific PrecisionTec Pavilion, which attracted a lot of visitors last year. It will be a chance for manufacturers of medical components, orthopaedic implants and cardiac surgical equipment to meet suppliers of raw materials and machine technology.

Steady growth The numbers of exhibitors, exhibition space, and visitors have continuously increased since the premier event in Stuttgart in 2002. An all time high will be reached with this 2011 edition. MEedtec Europe 2011 stands for uniting over 900 exhibitors with 13,000+ decision-makers from engineering, design, manufacturing and management.

Medtec Europe is the right event for everybody involved in the supply chain of medical device manufacturing and exhibitors provide insights into the latest in raw materials, manufacturing technologies for metal and plastics processing, as well as outsourcing and components.

Don’t’ miss that opportunity to stay in touch with the medical market for microtechnology in Europe.
