New dates for the Newemag Exhibition

March 2011

Due to the tragic event happening in Japan, Newemag postpones its open house to May 18 to 20, 2011. Newemag’s open house in Rotkreuz focuses on particularly interesting products. Visitors will have the opportunity to see a beautiful range of high-quality machines. For example an evolution of the BNA machine by Miyano, the BNA-42 DHY series and the new SKT -180 TTSY by Hyundai-Kia will be presented.

Demand for machine tools continues to decline: Situation expected to stabilize by end of year

Orders received by the German machine tool industry in the second quarter of 2024 were 28 percent down on the same period last year. Orders from Germany fell by 13 percent whereas those from abroad dropped by 33 percent. Orders received in the first half of 2024 were 26 percent down on the same period last year. Orders received by the German machine tool industry in the third quarter of 2022 were 9 percent up on the previous year’s figure. Orders from Germany rose by 3 percent whereas those from abroad were up by 12 percent. Demand rose by 26 percent in the first nine months of 2022. Orders received by the German machine tool industry in the first quarter of 2022 were 44 per cent up on the same period last year.
