A new motorized tool-holder block that allows different types of equipment (to be assembled in counter-operation) is now available for Delta machines. The motorized equipment in counter-operation is an excellent complement to the HF spindles.

The tooling arrangement can include a drilling/milling device, an axial spindle or a milling/slotting device (from left to right).
HF spindle enable light operations to be carried out that require the tools to rotate at very high speeds. On the contrary, the block for motorized tools enables drilling, milling and slotting requiring higher torque.
The existing equipment includes
- 25 mm diameter axial spindle for drilling, thread-cutting and milling operations at the back of the part on the axis or off-centre.
- Transverse milling/slotting unit for milling flat surfaces and slots
Specifications Motorized block Maximum tool speed: 7000 rpm, 2 speeds, programmable through M functions Max. motor power: 0.75 kW Restrictions: Synchronization with the counter-spindle is not possible
Axial spindle Fitting: Three spindles can be fitted simultaneously Clamping: Grippers ER11/ESX12 Ø of the tail: 7 mm
Transverse milling/slotting unit Fitting: Max. 2 units Mill max. Ø: 30 mm Adjustment: Height adjustment with spacers.
