The company design and implement industrial laser applications. Advices, research and development and production of metallic parts are the main activities of the company.

Parts created layer by layer The fusion process can generate large-volume components layer-by-layer using 3D CAD data. Laser Jura only uses original materials, no powder mixes, are used which are uniquely suitable to manufacture cooled tool inserts for instance. The process allows complex component geometries to be manufactured without tools and conformal cooling channels are possible for highly complex components in the 3D sector. The optimally cooled mould inserts allow the production of parts without distortion at much shorter cycle times.
The top quality results speak for themselves, the fusion process allows the manufacture of:
- End products in steel for functional parts
- End products in leight-weight alloys for functional parts
- End products for medical technology, racing and aerospace industry
- Mould inserts for series injection moulds
- Mould inserts for diecast moulds
- Prototype tools for injection moulding and diecasting
M Jurot, CEO of Laser Jura says: "You want to manufacture a part with a high level of complexity and you can’t produce it in a traditional way? Laser Jura offers you a new possibility to produce these quickly and with a high level of quality". Eurotec will come back on the process used at Laser Jura in a further issue.
Compatible material: 1.4404 (316L) - 1.2709 - AlSi12 - AlSi10Mg - TiAl6V4 – CoCr – Inconel 718.
To guarantee the quality, Laser-Jura technologies has been certified to meet the standards in EN ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008, since December 2008. This means that manufacturing procedures at the company are in compliance with the standard’s requirements for the development and production of medical implants in the fields of orthopaedics and bone replacement material for instance.
