Following a well-established tradition, MunichExpo Veranstaltungs GmbH once again offers the prestigious MATERIALICA Design + Technology Award. The competition is open to designers, materials suppliers, developers, engineers, and producers.

Application deadline ends on 30 June, 2011 - Sponsorship Award endowed with €1,500.
Students can apply for the Student Award that is endowed with €1,500. The price is awarded for outstanding innovative, creative or engineering achievements in the categories Materials, Surfaces, Products, and CO2 Efficiency. Particular attention is paid to the areas of Aerospace, Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Engineering, Power Engineering as well as Sports and Technical Consumer Goods. All winning entries will be presented to the visitors for the entire duration of the MATERIALICA Design Show from 18 to 20 October, 2011. Application deadline for the award is Thursday, 30 June, 2011. “We have received the first submissions”, says Robert Metzger, Managing Director at MunichExpo Veranstaltungs GmbH, organizer of the Award and member of the jury.
