DMG / MORI SEIKI starts the year 2012 with a large traditional open house: As the largest supplier of the GILDEMEISTER group DECKEL MAHO Pfronten GmbH provides from 7 to 11 February 2012 the perfect setting for presenting the innovative machine program.

DMG / MORI SEIKI expects more than 5,000 trade visitors from all over the world to this event offering them a showcase in the field of machine tools in addition to an extensive seminar program. Among the 60 machine tools, which will be presented live in operation by the manufacturer team, the trade visitors will come across numerous technological innovations.
To meet customers’ challenges Users in the machining industry are faced with the challenge of increasing efficiency and productivity. For this reason, machine tools must be powerful as well as versatile and flexible.
Highlights to be discovered (among others)
- DMC 60 H linear, highly precise, fast and dynamic. An interesting feature of this new development is the option to also perform 5-axis machining with a swivel rotary table.
- NHX 4000, horizontal centres from the cooperation partner Mori Seiki. The horizontal machining centre can in future be optionally equipped with the Siemens 840D solutionline or the MAPPS IV control,
- To discover the milling-turning competence of DECKEL MAHO: the DMU 85 FD monoBLOCK®. Furthermore, the universal machining centre DMC 65 monoBLOCK® with pallet changer is another example for the fascinating possibilities of the up to 5-axis simultaneous machining in production.
- DMU 80 eVo: To the usual milling performance of this machine generation new features are added such as the fast changeover cycles for short idle times and extremely compact construction for minimal space requirements.
- CTX beta 800 4A. Decisive features are the usage of two turrets in combination with the integrated cross stroke of the counter spindle tailstock combination. Innovative details like the “TRIFIX” precision interface for minimum tool setup times or the DirectDrive (to be integrated optionally) round off the overall picture.
More value In ten technology seminars, customers and trade visitors are introduced to future-oriented topics in more detail, amongst others from the fields of 5-axis machining, aerospace, automotive HBZ or LASERTEC.
There are much more to discover at the open house.
