DesignMed – new trade fair for developers of electronic medical devices

In Stuttgart from March 22 to 24, 2011: innovative electronic components for medical technology. For the first time Canon Communications is to hold its very own trade fair and conference for developers of electronic medical devices, DesignMed 2011, which will run from 22nd to 24th March 2011 in Stuttgart. This fair will be aimed at constructors and developers in this field. It is to take place within the framework of MEDTEC Europe 2011, the leading European trade fair for medical technology.

Gregor Bischkopf, fair manager at Canon Communications, explains: “In the past there have been up to 2000 visitors to MEDTEC Europe who are specifically interested in medical technology electronic components. DesignMed offers a concentrated, specialist-based focus for these interested parties.“

Exhibiting companies and speakers at the DesignMed conference will impart information about the latest technological developments in the field of electronic components used in medical technology.

Key exhibitors Leading suppliers of communication and network technology, processors and development tools, microcontrollers and microprocessors, radio technology, software and testing and measuring technology will present a variety of innovations at the trade fair. Analysts estimate turnover of the worldwide market in finished products in the area of electronic medical devices at 70 billion euros.
